Plans

Questions?

What is met?

An app for meeting up with friends in real life. You drop a plan, your friends see it, and whoever’s up for it taps “I’m in”. The rest happens in person.

How is it different from a group chat?

In a chat, a plan drowns between photos and “so when?”. In met it stays on top: what, where, what time and who’s going. There’s a chat too, but each one belongs to a single plan.

What can I plan?

Anything you do together. Coffee in an hour, a match on Saturday, a gig next month or a weekend in the mountains with two spare seats in the car.

Who sees my plans?

You decide. A plan can be for friends only or public. Nobody joins a public one without asking: a request comes in first, then you decide and set how many places you keep for new people.

Does met know where I am?

Only when you tell it. There’s no live location here. You tap “I’m here”, your friends see that one place for two hours, and you can take it back at any time.

How do I add friends?

Easiest at the table. One person shows their code, the other scans it, and that’s it. The code lives for ten minutes, so a screenshot passed on won’t add anyone.

What if I want to disappear for a while?

You take a break. Your account vanishes from other people’s view, but nothing is deleted. Come back whenever you like and everything is waiting where you left it.

When and where?

iPhone first, and we’re starting in Warsaw. Launching soon. For now the app speaks Polish only.
